Student Activity

Use the A3 activity sheet to help you think about what you would do if you were in charge of your home region in Wales.

  • Use a local map either an OS Map or a GIS map such as Google Earth. Draw and label the different aspects of infrastructure that you can see on the map.
  • Make a list of important (critical) parts of infrastructure that are missing from your map.
  • Put your list into rank order with the most important at the top.
  • Continue with the A3 sheet to help start to think about infrastructure that will be necessary for Wales to earn more money and improve living standards.

In the next edition we will complete a DME (Decision Making Exercise) by looking at infrastructure projects in Wales and why they are important.
